J-Drop Campers (Jones Outdoors Limited) warrants that it will repair or replace defects in material or workmanship of a new J-Drop Camper purchased from J-Drop Campers (Jones Outdoors Limited) for a period of twenty-four (24) months from the date the trailer is first delivered to the original purchaser.
Some of the equipment and fittings supplied with your J-Drop are not manufactured by J-Drop and are separately warranted by their individual manufacturer or importer. J-Drop Campers will replace or repair these components for a period of twelve (12) months from the date the camper is first delivered to the original purchaser. After 12 months these separately warranted components will not be covered by J-Drop Campers.
J-Drop Campers will provide applicable component warranties.
The fittings and equipment that may be separately warranted could include, but not limited to:
Roof Rack & Awning
In order to obtain coverage under these warranty terms, you must notify Jones outdoors Limited of the warrantable defect no later than ten (10) days following expiration of this warranty and fill in and return the Warranty Registration form. J-Drop Campers obligation to repair or replace defective materials or workmanship is the sole obligation of J-Drop Campers under this warranty. J-Drop Campers reserves the right to use new or remanufactured parts of similar quality to complete any warranty work.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED BY THIS LIMITED WARRANTY
This warranty does not provide coverage for any of the following:
Normal deterioration due to wear or exposure, including but not limited to rust, corrosion, oxidation, and cosmetic blemishes.
Subject to any rights you have at law which cannot be excluded, J-Drop Campers assume no responsibility or liability for defects in workmanship or operation of separately warranted products, for which you have been provided with separate warranty statements, after a twelve (12) month period from delivery of the J-Drop Camper.
Normal maintenance and service items, including but not limited to light bulbs, fuses, lubricants, sealants and seals, slide out adjustments, door adjustments, and awning tension.
After-market equipment or accessories installed on the camper after completion of manufacture by J-Drop Campers, or any defects or damage caused by such items.
Campers not purchased through an authorized dealer of J-Drop Campers, and Campers purchased directly or indirectly through auction, salvage, repossession, or other non-customary sale means.
Defects or damage caused by, in whole or in part, or in any way related to:
Accidents, misuse (including off-road use), or negligence.
Alteration or modification of the trailer except such alterations or modifications approved in writing by J-Drop Campers.
Acts of God or other environmental conditions, such as lightning, hail, salt, or other chemicals in the atmosphere.
De-icing agents or other chemicals applied to the camper.
Failure to properly maintain or service the camper, including but not limited to the maintenance of lubricants, sealants, and seals.
Condensation and the results of condensation including water damage and the growth of mould or mildew. Mould and mildew are natural growths given certain environmental conditions and are not covered by the terms of this warranty.
Use of the camper other than for temporary recreation purposes, including but not limited to use of the camper for residential, disaster relief, commercial, or rental purposes.
The addition of weight to the camper that causes the camper’s total weight to exceed applicable trailer weight ratings, or addition of weight causing improper distribution of the weight of the trailer.
Selection, use, and operation of any hitch assembly.
Failure to seek and obtain repairs in a timely manner.
Failure to use reasonable efforts to mitigate damage caused by defects.
Failure to properly ventilate the camper.
Improper electric power supply or improper vehicle hook-up to other facilities.
Acts or omissions of any person or entity other than J-Drop Campers.
